Top application tips
Getting your application method right for your curl type can make a real difference to your results. Our favourite method for coils is raking. Raking is great for coils that experience a lot of shrinkage, it helps to stretch whilst adding weight from product application.
Raking: Apply both Curl Cream and Curl Defining Gel to your hands and squeeze down the length of hair. Do this to each section around your head.
Mastering your coils in-between wash days may take some time to work out. As a guide if your coils feel dry use either some Curl Conditioner, Curl Cream or Intensive Moisture Treatment. If they feel fluffy and need some help defining use your Curl Defining Gel. Follow the steps below to create your own bespoke refreshing spritz.
Curl Conditioner or Curl Cream - mix 1 part with a little water in a spray bottle or flairosol, shake and spritz hair all over. Smooth over canopy or spot treat individual coils for more uniformed definition. Finish with a little Curl Defining Gel if needed.
